Champions League Final Tv Schedule
is espn really not broadcasting the champions league final?
i find this almost unbelievable that’s why i am asking the question my tv guide has been wrong before but then i go to the ESPN website and look at the schedule and there is no ESPN log next to the match info ( ESPN logo means ESPNs will be broadcasting it )
so are they going to be or not?
In the United States the Champions League is on Fox. About 2-3 years ago ESPN had the USA broadcast rights to it then the contract was up and the package that fox sold was more appealing then the package that ESPN sold, willing to broadcast more games on TV live instead of just one on ESPN2 and the rest on ESPN3.com.
Fox put games on Fox Soccer Channel, Fox Deportes, and local FSN channels, the Semi final games on FX, and the Final will be on your local Fox affiliate. 2pm eastern 11am western starting coverage time on Fox Saturday May 28th. Also they offered more money then ESPN so the games are on channels owned by fox. This is in the USA.
