So, what trophy will Arsenal win next season(2008-2009) ?

What ? Are they gonna be trophy-less again ? Oh no lol that won’t happen 5 months or so this season Arsenal were at the top of the table what makes some of you fans think Arsenal lack quality ? Yup, Chelsea(£200 m), Man U(£150m) chasing a £60 million Arsenal squad for 70% of the season. Arsenal have the quality just not the quantity. +When was the last time Arsenal spent more than £15 million ? That was on Reyes the flop while Man U,Chelsea & Liverpool and even Spurs spent more money(still dreaming of the CL eh Spurs hahahaa). Yeah i’m just bringin’ up some facts to cheer meself up, or whatever.

You’re spot on RoVisk in pointing out that we were dominating the Premiership for much of the season. I disagree with other posters in that it was Wenger’s lack of spending that cost us. We were unlucky with injuries, but it was our failure to secure victories in matches we should have won that cost us, not our failure to wave the cheque book around! (only got 1 point against Middlesborough, drawing with Birmingham home and away, away draw with Wigan) That’s 11 points dropped that we should have made sure of!

Wenger knows that too and I’m sure he will improve on this – I’m certain we will bring home a trophy or two next season!

The Premiership – definately! (throw in the FA cup for good measure!), but my money’s on the Champions League – we have been competing in it and holding our own for years now – we are due another final soon!
